Mermaid kisses: beauty review for Emma Pamper me Beautiful

This is slightly out of the ordinary for me. I don’t usually write beauty reviews, but while ago a love lady named Emma approached me asking if I would review some beauty products for her. At first I was a little hesitant as my blog is purely about my very own mental health struggles, but after thinking about it I thought why not?!

I have been working on ways to build my confidence and adding a little make up products to my daily routine could only help. Indeed it did. I received several compliments wearing the products Emma so kindly gifted me. My confidence is growing daily and I love the products I now wear them everyday because I love them and not just because she asked me to review it!

So here is a little bit about Emma and the body shop at home. You can follow her on Instagram @emma_pamper_me_beautiful or on Facebook Emma pamper me beautiful Cambridge. Emma is a area manager for the body shop at home and offers product testing evenings, pamper parties, skin care test and advice and advice on make up.

As many of you know the body shop is a world renowned store offering skin care and make up products and accessories. All products are cruelty free and they do not test on animals which is something I really love about the company. It’s proudly British and engage in fair trade which benefits around 25000 people in several countries around the world.

The products Emma asked me to review was a lovely moringa bath bubble, Vegan lip butter, bronzer and a beautiful eye colour stick.

So let’s start with this little beauty! It smelt absolutely amazing. The scent filled my entire bathroom and watching it fizz up was like magic. My skin felt amazingly soft and I could smell it on my body for ages. Yes I sniffed myself every so often. I know I’m weird like that!

Vegan lip butter

I just love the colour. It’s a Matt Vegan lip butter and the colour pops. It really makes a statement. The texture was a bit grainy feeling at the start, but it is Vegan and not like a normal lipstick. Once it is on it lasted a lot longer than I thought. I drink lots of coffee and water and the lip butter lasted ages before I had to reapply. The longest before I had to apply again was approximately four hours. What I love most about it besides the amazing colour is the fact that it is Vegan and cruelty free. The texture I got used to very quickly and I am absolutely in love with this lip butter! Its also contains 0 gluten and is so affordable. This lip butter is lightweight and did not dry out my lips like some lipsticks do. I would highly recommend it. Did I mention it is Vegan?! Only a couple of times right?! So get yours a give it a try.

The eye colour stick is another product I love. Application is so quick and easy and it has definitely help speed up my make up application in the morning especially on those days I’m running a little behind schedule. As a busy, full time working mother and student i don’t always have a lot of time in the morning so this beauty has been an absolute life saver. Application is so easy. One stroke over my eyelid and I have amazing colour that lasts all day. It is 100% Vegetarian and contains beeswax and babassu oil. If you’re into the fancy flicks, wings and shading this product does it all. The colour I tried was Aruba Palm and I loved the natural look of it. It made my eyes pop and added a bit of shimmer to it.

The just makes my skin glow so beautifully. It looks so natural and add a little shimmer. The bronzing beads are lovely. One swirl of my bronzer brush on the beads and onto my face and I have a natural sun kissed glow. It can be used all over the face too. The product is dermatologically tested and contains community trade marula oil!

I love these products and I am so grateful to Emma for gifting me these amazing products. I can honestly say I genuinely love the products and I highly recommend it. If you’d like more information on the products contact Emma on Facebook/ Instagram. Details in the post.

Thank you for reading everyone. Please leave any comments or questions.
